The Mighty Mocambos out of Hamburg released many fantastic albums and 45s over the last couple of years. Gizelle Smith was the lead singer on their debut album. For their second long-player (The Future Is Here) they teamed up with different vocalists, one of them being French singer Caroline Lacaze. In May 2013, the Mighty Mocambos were backing Miss Lacaze for her debut album En Route. Physique is not taken from the aforementioned album though, but was released on The Future Is Here. It has been a club favourite for the Tramp crew since its release. Therefore it was only a question of time when they would ask the Mocambos to get the permission to put it out on 45. Although releasing it took longer than expected, theworldwide Soul & Funk community can finally enjoy this wonderful track along with a sweet Soul instrumental on the flip. 500 copies pressed.
