Doktu Rhute Muuzic (formerly Roy Hytower) has enjoyed a full career from his late teens to this present day, a career that spans over 50 years. His first experiences were singing around Mobile, Alabama. In 1962 he came to Chicago, replacing Mighty Joe Young as rhythm guitarist for Otis Rush. Often adopting a soul-slanted sound, Hytower cut a handful of 45rpm singles in the 1960s and '70s for several local labels such as Avin, Expo, Brainstorm, and Jiffy. In June 2016 his tune "Song Of Deliverance" was featured on Tramp's "Peace Chant" compilation. In recent years Roy Hytower has self-released a couple of CDs, however under his new moniker, Doktu Rhute Muuzic. "I'm In Your Corner" and "Tip Jar" were released on two different CD albums. This is the only chance to get these two wonderful tunes on vinyl. Don't miss it!
