A 2 track soul single (4m 33s) — released May 26th 2014 on Tramp Records
Marie Adams recording career began in 1952 when she released her first 45rpm single on the Peacock label. She then formed the "The Three Tons Of Joy" and joined the Johnny Otis Show. They left Otis in 1960 to work in and around Los Angeles. In the early 1960s Marie did two solo sessions for small L.A. Labels which went unnoticed. She and her sisters joined the Johnny Otis Show again in the early 1970s with whom they remained for most of the 1970s. Do not miss the excellent "Movements Vol.6" compilation on Tramp Records which contains "That's The Way To Get Along" as well as detailed liner notes about Marie Adams & the Tommy Dodson All-Stars.
